Acting Executive Director: Corporate Services

Zukile Christopher Mvalo was born in East London and grown up in Keiskammahoek ( Eastern Cape Province)  and studied there his primary and secondary school and came to Cape Town in 1987 where he continued with his tertiary education. His qualifications include  BA in Social Work, Master’s Degree in Public Administration both obtained at the University of the Western Cape, Post Graduation Diploma in Labour Law obtained at the University of Cape Town, Post Graduate Certificate in Employee Assistance Programme obtained at the University of Pretoria and Certificate in Municipal Management Development Programme obtained at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and Certificate of attendance in Advance Human Resource Management obtained at Thames Valley University  (London).

He worked as the Social Worker in the Department of Correctional Services from 1996-1999, and from 1999-2003 worked as an Employee Assistance Practitioner.          In September 2003 he accepted the post of Director Human Resource Management at the Cape Winelands District Municipality. Since July 2009 update he is also acting as the Executive Director: Corporate Services.
