“Ooh, can’t wait for the Expo, had such a good time at the last one!” commented one of our Facebook followers. And what’s not to like? The Winelands Autumn Expo is set to return on May 30th and 31st, 2025, at the spectacular Montana High School Sports Grounds in Worcester.
The success of the 2024 Expo was evident from the number of visitors who enjoyed the rich flavours and vibrant culture of the Cape Winelands. Over 100 vendors offered award-winning wines, spirits, culinary delights, arts, and crafts to an audience of more than 2,500 visitors, all while being entertained by top artists such as Die Heuwels Fantasties, Jeod House, Tarryn Lamb, Emo Adams, and more.
For the Cape Winelands District Municipality and their partner, Breede Valley Municipality, the primary objective remains to showcase the diverse offerings of the Cape Winelands District and foster an environment conducive to sustainable economic growth. Executive Mayor von Schlicht explained, “Our goal is to uplift communities and create a space where entrepreneurs from the region can exhibit their products to the public, offering a stepping stone in their growth.”
Visitors to the 2025 Winelands Autumn Expo can look forward to an even wider array of offerings. The Expo will highlight the best places to stay and explore, venues to celebrate at, adventures to experience, and produce to taste and savour. Great talents are being lined up for entertainment, with Early B as part of the line-up. Amazing prizes will be up for grabs.
The organisers are ensuring that children’s entertainment is exciting, with dedicated stage performances and stalls just for the young ones. Parents can drop their kids off at the improved kid’s entertainment area, which will offer child-minding and age-appropriate activities in a secure environment. This allows parents to stroll through the stalls and exhibitions to enjoy a meal while watching the show. The adventure exhibitions will include everything related to outdoor living, adventure, and travel.
Even though Autumn is the golden season in the Winelands, stalls and vendors will be under cover, so even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, visitors can still enjoy the stalls, entertainment, exhibitions, and food trucks!

The tickets, which includes all entertainment, cost R100 per adult, R40 for teens, and kids under 12 enter for free. Secure parking is available at R10 per day. Weekend tickets are R160 per person. Stallholders reported that sales exceeded their expectations, with many needing to replenish their stock for the rest of the weekend! This year, the Winelands Autumn Expo promises to be even bigger and better.
