Bradley’s coach, Emile Koopman described Bradley’s running as ‘poetry in motion.’
The Cape Winelands District Municipality’s Deputy Mayor, Cllr Dirk Swart stated, ‘hard work is always rewarded, and you have worked very hard for this achievement, we applaud you.’ As he and Cllr Achmat Florence, Portfolio holder for Sport and Culture handed Bradley a small gift.
Mr Charl Schoeman, Principal of Worcester Gymnasium, shared that despite the challenges that COVID-19 regulations presented, the school’s, Athletics teams could continue training due to the dedication of the Athletics co-ordinator, Mrs Elzabe Hanekom.
Bradley is hoping to receive a bursary that will allow him to study while continuing his training next year.
